ENGLISH

Obligatory language classes are available in English, German, Russian and Polish as a Foreign Language. The elective classes are offered in English. The number of the class hours depends on a study plan, form and cycle of studies.

Students are assigned to groups based on their abilities as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Foreign language teaching involves a blended learning method incorporating interactive conventional classes with e-learning materials hosted by the academic platform called ONTE. First cycle students work towards B2 level and take an examination, both written and oral part. Admission to the exam may be conditional on receiving credits for classes or meeting other terms defined in the syllabus.

Students participate in evaluating the teaching process and are advised to take advantage of the teachers’ duty hours.

For those who aspire to expand their language skills further, the School of Foreign Languages

offers language courses and classes, although these are charged extra.
